Montana Angus Female Bonanza XV Bred Heifer and Cow Sale

   Demand was good to very good throughout today�s sale. Supply consisted
of high quality, uniform, commercial Angus bred heifers and young cows. 
Market activity was active to very active with many buyers on hand from 
all over the country as well as on the internet and phone actively bidding
on offerings. Cattle sold to numerous states and all regions of the country. 
Heifer offerings were A.I. bred to Angus herd sires or natural serviced to high 
quality sons of popular Angus herd sires. They were set to calve in tight 
windows, mostly 2-3 days if A.I. or 20-30 days if pasture bred. Coming 3 
year old cows were offered A.I. in tight calving windows as well, however most 
cows were natural service bred and most are set to calve in 30 days or less. 
Cows and heifers were in light to moderate flesh condition. All AI offerings 
were sorted for the sex of the calf, with all purchases tagged for sex. All 
prices are per head.      
                 
          
   Bred Heifers:  Medium and Large 1 AI Bred for February calving carrying bull 
calves 943-1065 lbs 1,760.00-2,050.00; AI Bred for February calving carrying heifer 
calves 949-1080 lbs 1,660.00-2,050.00. Natural Service bred and carrying either sex 
for Feb-March calving 968-1098 lbs 1,575.00-1,710.00, F1 black white face cows 1043 lbs
1,800.00. Natural Service bred and carrying either sex for April calving 970-1093 lbs 
1,375.00-1,625.00                                 
          
   Bred Cows:  2 coming 3 yr olds Medium and Large 1 AI Bred for March calving carrying 
bull calves 1095-1200 lbs 2,025.00-2,375.00, carrying heifer calves 1110-1190 lbs 
1,850.00-1,960.00. Natural Service Feb 1-April 1 calving 1226 lbs 1,935.00. March
-April calving 935-1140 lbs 1,635.00-2,050.00, Bred Hereford 1179-1247 lbs 1,700.00

   Bred Cows:   2-6 year olds Medium and Large 1 Natural service bred carrying either
sex calving March-April 1277 lbs 1,885.00 (calves are registerable at buyers expence).                         

   Bred Cows:  Aged  Medium and Large 1 Natural service bred carrying either sex for
